How to Register in PlayHQ
Cricket Victoria have changed to PlayHQ for the 2023-24 season and onwards, this means there is now a new way to register to play cricket, some of the big changes are:

PCCC cannot bulk register players any longer

Moving players between competitions (including juniors and seniors) will require input from both the club and the player/guardian to facilitate

Payments will now be split according to Club, Association(s) and CA where applicable and be presented in an itemised invoice at the end of registration.

You will need to create a Cricket ID this is separate to your old MyCricket ID and will be in the form of an email address which will link all CA data going forward.

Parents create a Cricket ID and then their dependents are on their Cricket ID

How to claim the profiles on the PlayCricket app (parent and any dependents) using your Cricket ID (can only occur after you have registered on PlayHQ).

Transfers and Permits
PlayHQ has had a couple of name changes that will be a learning curve to some players and guardians, chief amongst these is the naming change and the 360 degree input required for Transfers and Permits in the New System.
Transfers: A transfer is a complete account movement from 1 club to another and is in general where you would house your Cricket ID until such time as you move clubs, most PCCC players will setup or transfer their Cricket ID to PCCC as part of their initial setup.
Please note where a transfer is completed by the player or guardian that the following process is followed which may take up to 14 days.
Transfer requests must be approved by the following organisations in order for the player to register to their new club:

The player’s current club.

The association running the competition that the player is transferring within.

The player’s new club.
Permits: A permit is an allowance to register in another club for the purposes of playing a match or matches for another club or association (eg: junior rep cricket, school cricket- where applicable)
we would request this is used rather than a transfer for temporary movements or additional clubs top remain available for PCCC selection should you require it.
Note: PCCC reviews all outgoing and incoming transfers and will contact players or guardians to confirm intent before accepting these documents.
